Were the springs busted? | | | 03-21-2011, 05:43 AM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Minnesota Posts: 11 | Quote: Originally Posted by jca I think I saw your car recently on Autotrader. Since I'm changing the rear shock mounts, I figured I'd look for pair of springs to be sure they matched each other. Lucked out- a pair is on the way. Otherwise the car seems to be in very good shape overall. Those squeaky shock mounts make it sound like a family of mice are living under the hatch though. Meyle H.D. shock mounts should help. -Kurt | | | 03-21-2011, 05:40 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | I have stock springs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk __________________ Im guessing im the youngest member on here with a S52 power'ed Ti at 16 years old! | | | 08-28-2011, 10:45 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: ny Posts: 4 | i'm looking for rear coil springs for a 1996 318ti Anyone one have some standard stock rear springs in good shape? Thanks | I was actually going to order some coilovers for it this week. How quickly do you need the springs? I'm not sure my fronts would be all that helpful as they're M3 springs. But, the rear is stock. | | | 09-06-2011, 07:39 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | I have a set of rear springs also, already off and ready to go. $30 plus shipping. I bought them used and had them on my car for a few miles, didn't seem to sag. __________________ No more ti. | | | 11-04-2011, 07:02 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2011 Location: NJ USA Posts: 159 | Rear springs I have a set of good rear ti springs that have 115K on them with no sag, nice and firm in the for sale section. | | | 11-09-2011, 05:47 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Louisiana Posts: 1,093 | i got a good set just lmk __________________ was the 1 an only Bagged Ti on 19's!! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
