I remember seeing someone in here that does digital editing.. Who are you??

I used to have a copy of adobe premiere but got screwed up/ So im looking for another digital program so I can record off my DV cam into my comp to edit. I have a bunch of footage just sitting which can be used. Please help , if you burn me a copy Ill send you some cash?

If I were you I would download limewire and do a search for the program you are looking for and you will most likely find a downloadable copy of the program.

I found adobe premiere pro and downloading as I write @freefunfiles.com(think its a tryout version)

But it seems that download are never as good as a real copy w/key???

My girlfriend (swits on this board) and I run our own video production shop, she uses Premiere Pro and After Effects for editing and encoding depending on the project. We can make DVDs as well, with full menus, preview clips etc. All for a very fair price

Depending on your morals all of the programs we've mentioned are "available" on the internet, and no I won't help you find them.

What kind of production does your friend do? Does he work on other people's stuff, or produce his own music?

Currently I have window movie maker (premire corrupted). If i get limewire, will I be able to download off my sony dv camera?

limewire is a p2p filesharing program.

depending on what extent you plan on editing, premiere is overkill for most people. it's complicated, and does a lot more than what you need. but, once you get it you can do quite a bit.

most people i know use generic software you can buy at compusa/etc and it works fairly well (at least the result).

Vegas is another good program. A lot of the paid professionals use it apparently.
