Default M3 E36 brake setup arrived!

Hello...

How are you doing?
My M3 E36 front brake setup arrived!
I can't wait to have it installed!
I will post pics as soon as I have it rolling.

I just have a question.
Should I upgrade to the M3 E36 master cylinder?
I really need a reply because I can get a hold of a M3 master cylinder really cheap!

Thank you!

Regards!

The M3 master won't hurt, but is not absolutely necessary.

I'm running the ti master with M3 front and M roadster rear brakes.

Be careful bleeding the system, as air in the ABS pump is very dificult to remove, and dangerous if not removed completely.

Default M3 E36 Master Cylinder

I just replaced my stock master cylinder with an M3 E36 master cylinder and yes I've noticed a little bit of improvement. I agree with J!M, it's not necessary but if you have it and want to do it, why not. The improvement is not worth the expense.

Keep in mind that you are going to need to change one of the brake lines going into the M3 E36 master cylinder. Both master cylinders look identical, of course being the M3 E36 cylinder a bit wider. However the female plugs where the brake lines connect are a bit different. Only one of our stock brakes lines will fit (the one closest to the firewall), the other one is too big. Our stock ones have different size male connectors.

Here's some pics of the install.

The Specs:
- M3 Spindles
- M3 Calipers and carriers
- EBC Brake Discs
- EBC Red Stuff Pads.

I Will test the setup like this.
Then I will install the M3 Master Cylinder, Goodridge Lines and Dot 5 fluid.

You can check the rest of the pictures in my photo gallery.

Regards!
