And yes it will only work in a '95, '96+ models are OBDII and require software upgrades(no chips). __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 10-20-2007, 10:24 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Denver,CO Posts: 27 | I need the engine fan not the electric one. | | | 10-20-2007, 10:30 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2004 Location: Northern Michigan Posts: 867 | Quote: Originally Posted by cg318ti I need the engine fan not the electric one. | engine fan? __________________ [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] | | | 10-20-2007, 10:56 PM | #10 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by cg318ti I need the engine fan not the electric one. | don't think m42's even came with belt driven fans? __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 10-21-2007, 07:48 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Minneapolis, MN Posts: 307 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 ^^^LOL^^^ Sell him JUST the chip for 180 bucks BTW, unless it's a piggyback, the DME is junk without it, you'll need the factory chip. Buy my DME with chip, then sell your DME without chip! You could easily take that DME, pull out the stock one and sell the stock one for a good majority of what you paid. Keep in mind that you probably will not want to use the Dinan chip with a turbo. | | | 10-22-2007, 03:55 AM | #13 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by hatchgrafix I haven't opened up the DME but If I had to guess it's not a piggy back, and by selling just the chip I sacrifice selling my DME in the future! Buy my DME with chip, then sell your DME without chip! Lol | I know this and thats why I posted what I did. You said that you didn't want to seperated the two(understandable considering the DME is no good without a chip). You asked for 180 for the DME with the chip and then the guy said "just the chip", so I said sell the chip to him for 180. It's a PITA to open up the DME and pull the chip and you run the risk of damaging the chip and the DME removing and installing it. IMO 180 bucks is a hell of a deal for that setup. You should contact DINAN and find out what the specs are for that chip, might be worth more than what you're asking. The DME alone is worth 180 bucks. Wish I had some cash, I'd snatch that up in a heartbeat. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
