I shouldn't have! The E46 models offered, in a wide palate of colours, and with low mileage, some with striking interiors, made me sleepless! Has anyone tried to bring one of these into the US? Yes, I know all about not meeting the NHSTA/EPA rules but "gray market" cars were imported some years back-I had one. But, ohhhh, these little babies are so tempting! Anyone know a "rule" to circumvent the system so that one could brought in? I could be so tempted. Makes me ask why BMW gave up on the ti in second generation format? Probably had to do with BMW going "upscale" and not wanting a 4-cylinder laggard in the line-up. Supposedly.... Most CA models are importable, if you have a pro handle the process, there are importers in BC that do this to get diesels into the US from Toyota. Cheers and Good Luck! I would do it if I could do a front end swap w/ a pre-facelift e46 sedan. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
