Ordered a new intake boot last week. Had some idling issues. I took the old one out and it had minor cracks on top. The bottom section had a huge crack that was not noticeable without taking it out. It is now idling perfectly.

That engine bay is far from dirty...I wish mine were that clean.

I placed a small 2x4 behind the rivet so not to drill through my door.

I also found using 2x4s in the door well helps when positioning the window.

Replaced oil pressure switch.
So far no more flickering oil pressure light at idle.

Also replaced passenger window regulator.
So far so good. Next I need to glue the standoffs.

Thanks guys. I thought about the 6.5" install. I will later do that once I buy another set of components. I just bought a 5-channel amp, MB Quart
740watt, and a 10" Mb Quart sub for the hatch... After another couple paychecks, the 6.5" install in the front and the 5 1/4" components in the rear deck. I will post pics when I am done. But what I do have are some pictures of some recent work of paint, new headliner (black suede) and body repair.
I can't seem to upload more than two pictures for everyone to see...

Rescued my 02 Tahoe with it. Used it to pick up a starter and and then later on in the day jump start it at soccer practice when I failed to tighten the side pole positive lead.

My temp gauge shot up today so I shut the car off and let it cool so I could get home. Tried running the heat to help cool it on the way home and it didn't blow hot so I knew there was air in the system. I parked the front up on some bricks and started adding coolant with the bleed screw open. I let it idle a long time with intermittent bubbles or just air at the bleed hole. Finally she shot up out of the bleeder like old faithful, so I decided it was done! After collecting the spillover in a pan and putting it back in the bottle, it was only actually down 1/2 gallon which should be about %16 so not a big deal as the level has not been checked in a long time - but our cooling systems are very sensitive to air pockets as many of you know.
