Default need some help and ideas for mah TI

i just bought a 96 TI and it came with some problems i had the locks fixed and i guess the guy did a poor job putting the side panel back on cuz it just fell apart if anyone can look at the picture and let me know how to put this thing on id like to try doing it myself instead of taking it to someone and get charged when i could do it myself i got more issues with the care but i wanna see if anyone could help with this first??

There are black plastic supports that are glued to the door panel.
I have yet to get them to stick well enough to snap in the door.
You probably need to replace the small white or yellow clips that mount the support to the door. If you are missing the supports you are SOL since they come with the door panel.

What's up with that stripe?

BTW- I lived in the Bx until the early 70s.

i think the supports broke off how do they look? could i get replacements i have those white clips but i think those supports fell off somewhere...ohh aint that white stripe came with the car not mah idea

The plastic supports are not available unless you buy the entire door panel.
Sometimes you will find people parting out cars.

dang buy a whole new one well im looking on this site but can figure out which panel i need http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...67&hg=51&fg=50 whats the difference between a door trim panel/laterial trim panel
