My car doesn't have fog lights. That in itself doesn't bother me, but I don't really like the look of the blanking plates that are on it. Are there any options for something like a brake duct that I can put in there? I'm not particularly interested in trying to wire up the car for foglights. | | | 06-02-2006, 02:13 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: No Where Posts: 297 | Anyone think that some mesh would good inplace of the headlights? I was thinking about that because I don't like the blanks either. I was also going to do mesh in the middle of the front bumper also, that way it looks uniform. There are lots of different kinds of mesh out there, even different colors. Might want to look into it. | | | 06-02-2006, 04:16 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Jacksonville, Florida Posts: 322 | I'm in the same situation. I went up to Roebling Road Raceway in February and when I was on the track, those little pieces where the fog lights would go came out! I didn't even notice till later.. but right now those spaces are just empty and I need to do something about it. I was also thinking of some sort of brake duct thing. | | | 06-02-2006, 06:50 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | I have a set of bright red fog inserts from when I installed the fogs this past year. Good shape. Make me an offer? __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 06-02-2006, 07:01 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Puerto Rico Posts: 885 | I have other pair of fog lamps cobvers in red,,,offer?? __________________ BMW...MY NEW TOY Mods: Some plastic parts, ///M Wheels and me | | | 06-02-2006, 07:17 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Halethorpe, MD Posts: 1,028 | There exists brake cooling ducting that is made to fit those openings. I believe BMP Design has them. Also, the ducts that are standard on the sport package cars could probably be made to work in there but they're not as big as the opening. | | | 06-02-2006, 07:26 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Puerto Rico Posts: 885 | Tha base bumper have the cooling ducts too, is near the grill....the sport have a holes in front... __________________ BMW...MY NEW TOY Mods: Some plastic parts, ///M Wheels and me | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
