Default 95 BMW 318TI M42 Manual Active - Sold

Selling 95 BMW 318ti Active that was my daily driver from 2012 to 2019. I ended up buying a newer vehicle and unfortunately the BMW has been sitting in the garage. I have been hesitant to sell it as it was my daily driver for so long that I could easily work on myself with the help of this forum. I have replaced a bunch of various items since 2012 in order to keep it on the road including clutch, suspension, HVAC parts, engine gaskets and hoses, alternator, plastic cooling pieces, starter, and all the fluids. Has newer Michelin Premier tires and new battery. Everything works and is 97% stock. I added an aftermarket engine temp sensor to stay ahead of any potential coolant leaks, tinted the windows, installed a new radio head unit, and swapped out rims with another OEM BMW set. It has never let me down and has passed two smog tests a couple years ago. Was originally a midwest car that I took with me to Arizona. While living in the desert, I tackled all the minor rust areas I could find. I drove it cross country back to the midwest and the car still has very little rust on it.

Minor issues include:
  • Car is originally green, but all areas that have been fixed are primer black.
  • Desert sun took a number on the clear coat in some areas.
  • Rear left spring has broke off a couple coils, but still holding up the rear end.
  • Driver side window likes to pop out of track if used at highway speeds.
  • Headlight aiming is broken and doesn't hold adjustment. Has been this way since I bought it, but doesn't make a huge difference in visibility.
  • ABS light is on.
  • Front leather seats are drying up and prone to cracking
  • Headliner falling down in the back

This looks like a great buy. One of the first TIs in the country....and apparently a press car!?

Also, those wheels are some of the lightest ones out there.
