Exclamation Help! Car won't start up after washing

I wash the car yesterday and it didn't start up afterwards. The starter will turn like it is going to start but it doesn't get fuel or ignite. The rev is zero even if I pump the gas pedal. I tried to start it several times and asked help from a friend. My instinct was that water got into some electrical connection but it seems that it is not the case. He took out the air intake boot and sprayed something and the car almost started and he asked me to turn it off.

Then, he asked about the fuel pump. I know that pump should start when I turn the key to the position II, though I can not hear it at all in general because the CD changer also starts up. He took out the rear seats and we listened the pump, nothing again. We checked the fuse of the pump, it was okay. My friend asked for pump relay but since there was no information on the fuse box and in the users manual, I said I didn't know. So, he told me to buy a new fuel pump, which is 220(Master) at the local store.

After I got home, I checked from realoem.com and koperformance for information on fuel pump relay. I learned that there is a fuel injection relay with the part number 61361729004 (#2 @http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...=12&fg=35&hl=6) and it should be white. However, when I went and check the fuse box, I couldnt see any white relay in the fuse box. Instead, the car has 2 identical BOSCH relays with similar diagram (#2) on, but in opaque red color. I also checked the pictures of fuse boxes in the following link from the forum, but my fuse box is different.

I read from the forum that the fuel filter could also be the problem. As a result, now I'm hesitant to buy a new pump. Do you guys think our diagnosis is right? Do we need to check the fuel injector relay, if so, where is the location of it? I suspect I might need to change all (the relay, fuel filter and the pump). I'm planning to order all from koperformance.

Another strange thing: when I went to check the relay second time, I touched the fuse box, and some sounds (like electrical) come from the engine. I took out the relays, it kept on coming.

Thanks for reading this long post. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, my car is 1995 318ti.
