I've had the steering wheel squeak and it was a simpler fix than I thought. I removed the bottom steering wheel cover thing and it was actually some sort of plastic ring that was kind of loose so it would squeak when I turn the steering wheel. So what I did was tape a little foamy sponge material thing to the inside of the cover so that it would dampen the ring and that worked for me.

I had a noisy, squeeky AND clicky steering wheel, it got worse within a few months of purchase from a (bad) member on here, anyway, I found a great mechanic, we tried the clock spring replacement but since this ti of mine is actually a salvage, there was something more to the problem. It diminished the sound a bit but there still is a strange squeek and click. Which lead us to believe that the car was more than just a little bump on the corner like this ... member on here told me the damage was. Would you like to know who?
