Default 1998 318ti for sale - moving must sell

Located in Austin, Texas.

Selling my black 1998 318ti (M44 engine) with 162k miles on it. I have owned the car for about 3 years now and have put around 45k miles on it.

Maintenance and common issue fixes I have completed recently:
- Brake Job with rotor replacement
- All engine oil seals/gaskets replaced with the exception of the rear main seal and oil pan gasket
- Changed manual transmission fluid
- Replaced lower control arm ball joint on drivers side front
- Replaced valve cover pcv/breather valve and breather hose
- All new tires about 1.5 years or about 20k miles ago michelin primacy mxv4, 70% tread remaining now. 1 tire got a nail in it and was unrepairable, so it has been replaced within the last 3 weeks. Tires have a prorate warranty or free repair if repair is possible.
- Radiator and thermostat plus housing has been replaced.
- Replaced many interior plastic pieces including shift knob, moon roof motor cover, radio and A/C control bezel, window switch bezels. The pictures show the parts when they were missing from removal. I have since installed them.

Blemishes and issues needing attention:
- The windshield has a small crack that causes annoying glare. I would replace it if I were to keep the car.
- The hood paint is faded and in need of repainting. The paint on the rest of the car is in good condition.
- Antenna for radio is broken and I removed it and covered the hole so water would not get into the car. This is an easy fix, I just never listen to the radio so I left it with some black silicon to seal off the hole.
- The airbag light is on and I don't have a tool to read it so I have not looked into the issue.
- Sometimes reverse pops out of gear. The forward gears never have a problem. I don't have any insight into the cause, but it's intermittent.
- Two wheel emblems have fallen off, but two remain.
- The headliner is sagging and needs repair.
- one of the fog light plastic pieces is missing (there are no actual fog lights on this car)
- Rear speakers are worn out
- I found out the hard way that the frame for the spare tire is bent and needs replacement. I had to have the car towed for a flat tire as a result.

Overall this is a great car that runs well. I have driven it cross country multiple times with no issues whatsoever. There are a few small issues that need attention but I am willing to negotiate the price to accommodate the repair of these things. Realistically I am looking for around $2500 for the car, I think this is pretty fair given the condition.

The car has never been in any accidents, I have a clean Texas title in my name. I am moving to California and cannot take my car with me, so I have to get rid of it unfortunately.
