Default DASC Inforation or parts

All,
I am installing the DASC on my M44 motor but missing the RRFPR and having issues getting in contact with Nick G. Does anyone have any information on the the RRFPR and/or the Fuel injectors that Nick G used in his Stage II system. Any guidance or help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Peter

Peter.....you could call Michael Yaskin, owner of Bavarian Specialties in King of Prussia, PA. He is a well known BMW “expert”, and installed this exact system on my car, and has done others as well. He may know the specific answers to your questions, or at least give you some direction. Good luck!

Default Anyone with NickG's Stage 2 system for information

All,
I am trying to get information on either the Rising Rate Pressure Regulator configuration or the Technique Tuning Stage 2 package. I have reached out to Nick G with no response. Still hopeful though. In the case I can get his Stage 2 kit, I will need to have the shop install the RRFPR but don't have one with my kit. If anyone can provide ANY information on either, it is greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Peter

I think you should be able to use any rrfpr that is within range,
https://www.ebay.com/itm/RISING-RATE...kAAMXQ0v1Raq6Y
Just as an example. It would not mount exactly the same but should do the job. I had my eye on an AEM one a few years ago but cant seem to find it now.

Here is a bit of info from http://bmw3series.johnavis.com/

I am not sure of the brand of AFPR. I read it was BEGi unit, but I asked them and they said it was a Jackson Racing part. I asked Jackson Racing and they said they didn't supply FPR's to Downing Atlanta.

I found some instructions for adjusting the regulator on 318ti.org forums.

1) Install a fuel pressure gauge which goes to 100psi between the fuel rail and RRFPR.
2) Start car. Use some blunt pliers and crimp the line between the fuel pressure gauge and RRFPR. Check pressure reaches 100psi and then release. Don't hold it at that pressure long. This checks the fuel pump can reach the needed pressure.
3) The pressures we are looking for are about:
40 psi at idle, 18 inHg vacuum
50 psi at 0 psi boost
75-90 psi at 8 psi boost
Screw the top screw in to get the fuel pressure to increase. You can check the pressure at 0 psi by removing the small hose that goes to the top of the RRFPR. Leave the RRFPR open to atmosphere, and plug the end that goes to the manifold up.

Another person commented, "75-90 psi seems a bit high for 8 psi boost. I think it should be closer to 68 psi."

I hope it helps.
