No reserve? If he doesn't get $12,000, it would be a crime. It needs a tranny though and is the diff from a 4 cylinder? __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 12-04-2006, 04:09 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: PA Posts: 1,906 | __________________ | | | 12-04-2006, 05:00 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Merged threads. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 12-04-2006, 05:46 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Va Posts: 256 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Sweet. I would think that they would've used a 6-cylinder diff if bothering to swap it, but yeah, what about the trans. . .and the suspension, and brakes. There are plenty of E36 M3's with all of the above included for $12k. I like ti's & everything, but I dunno if I'd do $12k for an M3 swap that didn't include all of the goodies, even if the motor is new. | | | 12-04-2006, 02:35 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: COLUMBIA S.C. I think next year we may start issuing infractions since this tends to be a problem. There is a how-to-do-it guide at the top of the for sale section. Also see the engine swap section. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 12-07-2006, 02:03 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 413 | lol...what 'infractions'...and the punishments for doing so? | | | 12-08-2006, 06:35 PM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: COLUMBIA S.C. Both parties should be happy. I thought it was good for at least $12,000. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
