Or at least the proper name for this thing, so I can google it? I looked on realoem.com, but I can't find it. | | | 10-26-2016, 09:35 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Georgia Posts: 595 | Amazon calls it BMW distribution hose for fuel injectors. https://www.amazon.com/BMW-Genuine-D.../dp/B00DD9M1U2 __________________ 1996 Ti 280k miles and still going.... 1993 964 - holding on to this one 2001 Burban, 240k miles 2018 Suburban Z71 | | | 10-26-2016, 11:08 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2013 Location: Ithaca, NY, USA Posts: 147 | Great, thanks! And FCPEuro claims that the part doesn't fit the 1995. I can only assume that this is an error - I know damn well that it's present on the 95, I saw it with my own eyes. | | | 10-27-2016, 05:02 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Seattle Posts: 513 | I ordered this part from pelican i believe and the main large hose had to be trimmed down as it was too long. Just an fyi, as that piece may be different lengths between the 95 and the rest. | | | 10-27-2016, 01:58 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Georgia Posts: 595 | Real oem shows an M44 build date of 12/1995. Do you have M44 or M42? __________________ 1996 Ti 280k miles and still going.... 1993 964 - holding on to this one 2001 Burban, 240k miles 2018 Suburban Z71 | | | 10-27-2016, 02:52 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2013 Location: Ithaca, NY, USA Posts: 147 | M42. | | | 10-25-2017, 06:20 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2010 Location: Southern California Posts: 107 | This part fits both the M42 and M44 (I've got both). The larger/supply hose will be trimmed for M42 fitment. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
