Well i was late to my job and was driving cornering fast and generally driving pretty hard to make it to my job in time. I took a few wrong turns and got lost so I decided to ring the client to get directions. but wait!!! where has my phone gone????? after 15 minutes looking for it, trying to figure out if i even brought it or I left it at home. I find it jammed in the air vent under the passenger seat!!! 20 minutes of trying to get it out I gave up and eventually found the clients address. SO i was about 40 minutes late. I had to take it to my mechanic who took abuot 10 mins with various different bendy pipes to get it out... and to top it off my girlfriend wasn't happy i was not answering her calls!!! | | | 12-12-2005, 07:30 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Cola. Next time this happens stop your car on a steep hill then floor it and it should come right out. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 12-12-2005, 09:55 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | man, i've never heard of that before. I usually keep mine in the cup holder or that little space behind them. When I had a Jeep I'd put the clip on the footman loop on the top middle of the windshield frame and that worked really well...it also served as a dome light too | | | 12-12-2005, 10:51 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Quote: Originally Posted by Tyler I normally leave my phone on it's clip and hang it off of the sun visor. | This is what I do as well. I'm looking into adding a comm system, to route the CB and phone into a bluetooth headset or throat mic.
