Default We need a screw ups, f@#%* ups, personal car embarrassments thread!

I have spent a load of money and personal time on my 318ti, that it has caused me to wait for 3 whole months to be able to get into it and enjoy it like a brand new car...

Welp, we needed a power cable for my new MB Quart system in the hatch...
Because of time frame, it seemed best to run the cable through the firewall on the intake side... There is more room to maneuver. To make things sickening, my buddy drilled into the brake booster. I will get pics. But this took all the weight of its glory away from me for atleast two more weeks! @$*#!

Not exactly on the 318ti, but 13ish years ago I had just met my now wife. I had also just finished the V8 conversion on my MGB. I mean just finished, never been out of the garage.

It was one of our first dates so I figured might as well take the B. About a half a mile from the house, one of the front wheels came off. I mean like went rolling down the street in front of us came off.

I used it as my initial wife material test since it didn't seem to bother her. I went to chase the wheel, jack up car, and actually tighten the lugs this time. Must have been a good test as we just had our 10 year anniversary :-)

I miss the B.
