Arrow Interior Light Out??

Hey Guys,

My light that back lights the heater/AC controls went out the other day. How do you go about getting that trim piece off without breaking it?

Thanks

Now are you talking about the three knobs or the three buttons?

You gotta remove the radio and the clock to access the top two screws(IIRC they might be torx), then remove the knobs to access the bottom two screws. Once all of the screws are removed, push downward on the panel to release the bottom two clips and the panel should come off. It's attached by clips to the actual HVAC controls, so if you want to separate it, you'll have to unclip it from the white control panel. Before you remove the panel though, try to access the light bulb from the inside by removing the radio. You might be able to unclip and pull out the bulb without removing the panel. Good Luck.

Just so you know, you don't just replace the bulb, you replace the bulb and socket since they are hardwired together (bulb is not replaceable). Its a dealership part that costs about $9. I just replaced mine last week.

I had something like that a while back, but when it came time for me to check the light buibs they came back on, i guess something was lose. I just tapped the bulbs and they turned on, haven't had that problem since then.

I bought my bulb at Advance Auto Parts for $2.50 for 2 bulbs. They have our car in there system and can tell you what exact bulb you need.
