Looking to clean up a 318ti I paid too much money for. I have a 1998 318ti with the California sunroof, that's annoying as hell. I'll update what I'm going to do with the sunroof later, but for now this forum has already helped me out tremendously. | | | 08-14-2006, 12:38 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Watford, herts, England Posts: 805 | hey man, welcome to the board! be careful what you say about the cali roof. the few guys on here with one get very upset if someone says bad things about them! post some pics when you get a chance! __________________ '96 318ti in Montreal Blue :m-tec sideskirts,m-bootspoiler,clear corners & repeaters .m-tech side mouldings, Magnex Exhaust System, leather armrest, F-15 gear Knob, 18" Evo 2's. I live in Hawaii so I'm having to put a cover over my car almost everyday to keep the water from literally gushing in. | | | 08-15-2006, 05:45 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2005 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 413 | Quote: Originally Posted by theinfiniteface Yeah, the sunroof leaks and its jammed so I'm going to a boat marina and have a custom shaped piece of polycarbonate glass installed so it doesn't leak anymore. There is already enough water damage to the car and ALL sunroofs leak. | | | 08-15-2006, 07:23 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | n00b!!!! haha jk guys... I remember seeing one about 5 years ago. The only problem is that your car will get pretty warm unless you have some sort of retractable sun-shade. I say do it, and post pics when it's done. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
