Default can someone post a list for mods to make a ti go fast

hey i am looking to make my ti make a run for its money and play with the big boys...basicly xmas is coming up and i was thinking about getting me a few presents for my car.

i am looking for a list of mods that will be the best benefit to my car which is a 1995 318ti i believe it is an OBDI.
if possible if someone could post a complete list of mods in order of which to do first and how much it will cost me to make my car the best it can be so i can have fun with civics.

my dad was saying somehting about block and blue printing the engine and like something about it increasing the hp by crazy amounts but i really have no idea due to the fact that the ti isnt the oridinary car it is the extraordinary car you cant just go on websites and hit click click i just bought everything i need.

so i am hoping some other 318ti finatic might possibly have a link to another thread with my requests or will post a reply

"what are the best mods for the ti for the money and which should i do first"

C'mon man, search.

6 cylinder swap for big power. Or a homebrew turbo...

you could find a DASC, but you'd have to get one used since they're discontinued, you have OBDI so they are some companies that make performance chips, the engine you have can be bored out to a 2.1L from kits you can buy, but that will only get you up to 200hp or so, for big power though, engine swap is the only way to go unfortunately

i noticed there is a 6 cylinder m3 for 1500 on craigslist..its an s50 whats the differences in these motors whether it is an s52 or s50 i would really love to get tht s50 for 1500$ that seems like a great price considering the other post seem to all say around 5k for this kind of swap so y does it seem that this engine is cheaper thent he rest of them

the S50 is a 3.0L OBDI inline-6 engine, the S52 is a 3.2L OBDII inline-6, both out of M3s, just different years, since you have an OBDI ti, the S50 swap would be easier electrical-wise

I think there is a member who is increasing his engine to a 2.0L and has a dasc and is only expecting around 200hp, it's not done yet so idk

well see i guess im in a little bit of predicament bc i want as much as i can get without unloading crazy dough..bc my dad is not really into the engine swap thing..like putting a s/c in is one thing but switching the engine is a little harder to hide and he was saying something like if i switch the engine the insurance caompany would know and i would be paying the bux or sumtin like that honestly if i could somehow i would like to runs high 11's at a quarter mile if i could without putting a new engine in but i seriously doubt tht is possible most cars cant even do tht but if there is a way to get tht or close to it i am up for it

you won't have to pay more with your insurance if they don't know about the engine, but then if you wreck the ti you won't be compensated for the money the engine and swap cost

you do not have an effin' clue to save your life do you? Before you blow a wad of your dads hard earned cash at least read up and form intelligent questions. Why on god's green earth did you buy a Ti if you're all about go fast? These cars are more about balanced handling.

High 11's, yada yada yada- how old are you? 17 I'm guessing? You give youth a bad rap.

yea i know that my dad is all into tht **** he is a 1974 bmw 2002tii and he is all into tht kind of track racing and i no the car is more of a track car but around here there is no where to really race like tht unless ur in a residential neigborhood and screw tht i do no speed in the residential that i show u kil kids and then the only other choice is running from the cops or another person like someone who wants to kick ur ass bc u called them gay for having a rainbow shirt and a fake mohawk and i have to say in tht situation the ti came in handy bc i went around pretty damn fast and his grandmas jaguar could not handle it

Search, and try to use some punctuation, it gave me a headache trying to figure out what you were saying...

Everybody wants the most power for the least amount of money, you're in no weird predicament...

And you answered your own question about the Scion, "...with ample mods with a ****load of money put into..."
