Default Max Wheel Offset?

What’s the max offset on 15” wheels that our cars can use?

I may have found a set to use with snow tires, although they have a 20 offset. I can run 245/40x17s all around with no rubbing. If I use skinny 195/55 or even 185/55 snow tires, think it would work?

I would try ‘em on to see for myself, except that the wheels don’t have any tires on yet. I’d hate buy a set and find out they won’t work.

this will show you how much room you have, all you need is a ruler.
