Cham210 Junior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Vienna, Va. Posts: 5 iTrader: (0) Photo Gallery	Starting issue Hi all, 1996 318ti with 36K. Went to start the car after it had been sitting for a few days. It sounded like the the starter was not engaging and it wouldn't start. The next day I went at it again, the same symptoms again but it finally started with a very rough idle. The idle seemed to come back to normal after a few minutes so I drove it around a bit. Then the engine light came on and it was making a ticking noise. The engine light is still on but the car seems Ok, no clicking sound. Any ideas? Thanks. Chris
