Yesterday I drove from Tucson, AZ, to LA to stay with my family for a couple weeks. The car got 30-33 mpg on the trip! Better than the 19 mpg I've been getting in the city.

Finished my C.O.P conversion.

First try...

That was my muffler. It also blew the fender liner off that wheel, blasted a hole in a bag of rock salt a few feet away and knocked the trim off my bumper.
Little voice said "Heh, you wired it up backwards idiot!"

Therapeutic session of re pinning pins 1, 5, 6 and 7...

Today I drove about 70 miles away (140 round trip) to purchase an SRS reset tool for my 1997 318ti Sport. Worth the drive for only $30 dollars and $12 in gas. My airbag light went off after the plug accidentally got pulled out of the drivers seat belt latch, Plugged back in latch and hooked up reset tool-2 Minutes later and that bight red airbag light is gone. HAPPY HAPPY

I nearly soiled myself.
After repinning the connector it fired up nice and easy... loud as hell since I have a hollow cat and no muffler... But stable idle and revved clean. Can't wait to get the thing back on the road.

Colorado318ti, where in Colorado are you located? By any chance do you drive a red (hellrot) 318ti?

Used a new Turtle Wax product, "Black Tire Coat", an aerosol product, to renew my base model side moldings. Looks fantastic, but we will see how it performs over time.

Oil and filter change
Front break brake pad change
Drive belt change
Swapped in some new spark plugs
Replaced hatch actuating arms (old ones kept coming down and it was pissing me off)

The only thing I have left to do is fix my drivers window. It came off track and I have to figure out why. I bought the little white sliders so I'm hoping those come in soon so I can get that **** figured out.

I'm really jealous of your strut brace!

I put about 80 miles on her today. Still leaks some fluid from under the car, but otherwise runs happy. I also peeled the red Plastidip off of the wheels. Finally, some glamour shots around town. You can see them in my build thread. She cleans up well!

I forgot to reinstall the oil pressure sensor. It's a pain with the alternator in place. Finally got it in.

I've sprayed down the front and side of the motor with simple green then brought went to a hand held car wash to clean the motor.
Looking good. So much more room to work on the M42 over my M52.

Tightened strut tops and some hose clamps to my power steering in hopes to stop some weeping until this summer.

I then changed the transmission fluid with new Mobil1 ATF. Finally, I flipped a FCAB bracket around as I realized I had installed it backwards.

No more clunking and the transmission is smooth again!
