Default Microsoft Access Question

Access Question

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My task is running a report that tallies all entries made for a particular date. The problem isn’t creating a query to get all entries for a specific date, but tallying all of the entries.

Any Idea how I can tally all of the entries?

NO ! all databases have their uses - depends on the what you want to do with the data, how many people are using it etc

big scale corporate - Sql server

small to medium size Access/Foxpro/or small SQL server install

1 to 20 users or occasional use - Access (free with office!)

I work for a 2000+ employee company SQL server is used for the big order/shipping database - but as it's expensive - there are numerous access databases in various depts for their own uses (sickness, document management etc)
