Default Replacement door panels ?

I have a '95 I'm trying to piece back together. The engine and suspension are in good shape, and the damage done by someone using a big honking' screw to reattached the driver side door panel that pierced the door lock on that side, has been repaired.

What I need now are a pair of good, tan-colored, interior door panels.

Might someone point me in the right direction(s) ?

Will panels from other cars fit, or am I restricted to 318ti ?

Recommended source(s) for said panels, please ?

Thank you.

sadly, yes, you are stuck with using only 318ti door panels, the door panels from other e36 cars mate up with the side of the dash in a different manner when you close the door. as far as finding new door panels, you are in the same boat as the rest of us, if i were you id take a look around some of your local scrap yards to find those door panels, at least thats what im going to have to do. and until you find those door panels, id say just fix yours to the best of your ability.

good luck with your project!

I see that hack-job door panel repair on E36's ALL. THE. TIME.

I read it's possible to fit E36 M3 door panels on the ti. I currently have a 95 I need of replacement panels. Hoping what I read is true as they are much easier to come by.
Thoughts??

All E36 sedan/touring/compact door panels fit the compact doors, BUT the sedan and touring have a different dashboard (which fits snug to the doorpanels) as the compact so the doorpanel wont fit the dashboard and the door won't be able to close unless you also install a sedan/touring dashboard.

TL;DR

Get doorpanels from a compact.

Great thanks. Sounds like repair and re-wrapping the doors is the best option. Appreciate it
