Default 16" OEM wheel fitment HELP!

I found these on craigslist, and called the guy for the tire size.
wheels have a 46mm offset, and the tires are 225/50/r16's
Will they work on my '96 ti ? I forgot to ask how wide the rims are, or what they came off of, but the tire size is the deciding factor weather they will fit or not, right? Is the 46mm offset too much?
I really like this style wheel, and to buy new anything it will be over 6-800...

Soo. I don't have to worry about inside rubbing, putting spacers on or the centers fitting the hubs?
Kewl. I'm going to go look at them tomorrow. Heres' why I changing all my wheels...everyone told me the old ones are super UUUgly so they gotta go.

Oh. The other reason. Disagreement with a overpass curb, day I bought the car...

I looked, but I don't see anyone here with these wheels on their car, but I have seen them on other cars on the street, and really like the style.
Anyone have pictures with these wheels on a ti?

Buy those wheels - you cannot go wrong with BBS. I've been looking for a set myself.

The tires don't exactly match but they are Pirellis, so I guess they'll do fer a while...
Thanks. I need incouragement.

After just spending 3K for the car then spinning it out on an onramp on the way home, then smacking the left front and left rear and breaking one wheel I can't find one of ...
paying 500 bucks for wheels is hard to swallow... but I needed tires anyway it seems...

Update:
Picked up the Style 42 wheels and Pirelli tires yesterday, here they are.
Now I gotta get them on the car (tonite) and get the rear alignment done, I may need the left rear suspension spindle/trailing arm methinks.

Nice/O.K. tires for now, too.

Me happy camper. I these are my favorite Bimmer wheels...they came off a Z-4 in San Fran.
