Anyone here in the LA area know of a good junkyard with BMW choices? I know theres one called "Alpine" but is there any others? Thx.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

Glad you finally showed us the damage. We are like family here, no reason to be embarassed. When did you get a carbon fiber hood?

oh btw regarding the hood ur lucky it didnt get damaged because when carbon fiber gets damaged it doesnt crack or break it shatters and flies EVERYWHERE theres a lot of cases on head on collisions not even that bad but because of the hood shattering it kills the driver .....goes straight through the windshield =/

I know I must be biased since I am from the east coast, but...EXCELLENT ENGLISH AND GRAMMAR!!! I have no idea what that said, due to the lack of punctuation and spelling.

I hate to sound like a fuddy duddy, but geez man, dont they teach you anything in school nowadays?

With that said, ima recheck my hood, how would it look exactly, i know shattered, is there a pic of a shatter carbon fiber i can see? Do you mean shatter internally on the hood, or the whole hood itself?

Your hood is probably fine. Believe me, you'd know if it shattared. It's like breaking glass, you'd have shards of it all over the place. Not quite like the way glass breaks, but it's the best mental picture I can come up with right now.

dude, what happened to your car SUCKS. My bro took his VW turbo Jetta around this turn at about 55, fishtailed, swung both axles into the curb at exactly the same time, both snapped, and the front axle acted a spear and went right through the whole enigne block and the hood. That was gonna be my car too....
I guess it worked out though, since I snagged a ti.

Have you checked it out for frame damage? I'd hate to see you spend all the money to fix it, just to find out the frame is f'ed. From those pictures it looks like the area right under the passenger side door took a heavy hit. The frame is basically right under the sheet metal in that area.

We looked it there wasnt a frame damage. My dad said that a body shop can pull the dent outta the door and fix it, and then the inside behind the tire (pass side) my dad said the body shop will need to pull out like a 1/2 inch of it.

I called harouts and those guys are a rip off

Common sense says if you say something like this you'll get a nasty response back which will eventually lead to Me, Steven or DustenT to close this thread. If you have a comment about something he/she writes and it does not pertain to this thread send a PM or KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.
