Default Exhaust Questions

I have an Ansa sport exhaust with a single tip. Will this be compatible with a 6 cylinder engine? If so, which engines?
Thanks

Anybody actually ever seen a gain in power with an Ansa?

Every car I've seen Dyno'd lost power with them, (All I've seen is Porsche's, and VW's ..)

Just wondering...

Up to a 2.8 I-6 comes OEM with a single pipe exhaust on the Z3. As long as we're not talking about an M3 engine, I don't see why it won't work.

If I did a 328i swap I could still use the Ansa exhaust? The reason I ask is I payed 500 dollars for the exhaust and I don't want to buy another if I can use this one.
Also, thanks for the replies, I'm a real novice when it comes to mechanical work.
