They feel just a bit stiffer than stock Mtech springs|shocks and maybee 1.5 cm lower all around. Today, Canada day, I installed the front lip and took some shots. Front lip cost $75. Hardware to install the front lip $45 for some screws... wtf... I god screwed. | | | 07-02-2010, 07:19 AM | #2 | Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: Connecticut Posts: 58 | Looks Awesome!! I love the front end a lot. However, I would lose the m3 Fins, Other than that, looks really original and fresh. | | | 07-02-2010, 02:00 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Lancaster PA Posts: 274 | When you say stiffer? Beat you up stiffer, or a bit firmer and not take your kidneys out? Considering this as well, that's why I am asking. What size are your wheels? | | | 07-02-2010, 03:38 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Montreal Posts: 63 | No... I mean 'stiffer' in a nice way. They also seem to also absorb bigger shocks in a surprising way instead of a boom i used to get before where the shocks were probably worn. So: Firmer on the smaller bumps and more gentle on the bigger bumps than Mtech. Definitely an improvement when cornering. I have no rubbung on 18s. I would prefer that they got rid of the front gap a little more but I figure it's better like that especially with the lip I just added and the condition of streets we have around here in Montreal. | | | 07-02-2010, 06:51 PM | #5 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | You should consider painting your hubs because those wheels are so open. Generic black bar-b-que grill paint should work just fine. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! I wouldn't go 19 though, I had the toughest time even with these 18s. That may be because the wheels weren't made for e36, I don't remember the offset though. The only thing that finally helped was getting a 35mm tire that wasn't wide (215mm) | | | 07-05-2010, 01:49 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Toronto-ish Posts: 47 | Great looking car! I believe they are made for e46 cause the offset is wide. The mirrors, ebay again . They are M5 mirrors made for e36. That's all I remember, I tried finding them again and couldn't. | | | 07-21-2010, 01:55 AM | #14 | Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Florida - Tampa Posts: 92 | Bump!
