R111S Member Join Date: May 2008 Location: Central Illinois Posts: 59 iTrader: (0) Photo Gallery	CHMSL incandescent bulbs replaced with LEDs 09JUN2014 - @163,913 Miles I upgraded the CHMSL Lamp (5 Watt, 50 Lumen, 2825 Bulbs, 6 ea.) with 1.5 Watt, 135° viewing angle, 75 Lumen, Red LED Bulbs from DDM Tuning. They appear to be slightly brighter and they turn on visibly quicker. Cost for six of the Red LED 194 Bulbs was $14.94 Plus shipping from China. The best part about replacing incandescent brake lamp bulbs with LEDs is that LEDs reach full brightness much quicker than incandescent bulbs. At 60 MPH this is 16 feet sooner and therefore is a safety improvement as well. Attached Thumbnails
