Although he did get it working. The extra 900$ you will pay for a DASC will get you the proper mounts, instructions, higher quality parts, the right parts the first time around, and support from a great racing fabricator(Downing Atlanta). If you don't mind having to build your own mounts, and don't mind figuring things out yourself then that extra 900$ may not be worth it to you. Although we have yet to see what Father's car can do on a dyno, or how well that system holds up in the longrun. Father had major problems getting the blower from those guys. MA claimed it was because it was going international and they had customs problems, but I am pretty sure you don't have to clear customs going to Puerto Rico. | | | 06-15-2006, 03:38 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Asheville NC Posts: 669 | also remember that something caught fire on FATHER's car. I'd avoid these guys. Either buy a DASC, build your own custom setup, or wait for SEAM. | | | 06-15-2006, 03:44 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Canada Posts: 182 | I was beginning to wonder if this was the set rig that FATHER had going on, thanks for letting me know guys. a mod can kill the thread, if they like. | | | 06-15-2006, 03:57 PM | #9 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | There was a cardboard S/C online that would've been a better deal than this scrap metal. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 06-15-2006, 04:28 PM | #10 | doesn't care about you.
