Default No clutch Feel! Removed Tranny and reinstalled

I did all seals for the car. Rear main, front, timing cover gaskets, oil filter housing gasket. To do the rear, I removed the D-shaft and replaced all the rear bushings while there.

Reinstalled the clutch and now there is NO FEEL from the clutch pedal. I can push it to the floor and it springs back up in a floppy form. I did some research and I am thinking that my pilot bearing either did not mate properly during the install, or my throwout bearing is somehow misaligned.

Something certainly feels wrong. The car is still on stands, and thankfully turns on. However, when I rev the car to 2-3k on neautral, I hear an intermittent metal clanking noise in the engine/tranny area. It is a loud and violent noise. Not good at all. I shut down the car and never turned it on again. I think it has to do with the tranny not properly installed/aligned. Ideas?

I found out what happened - classic slave cylinder explosion into the bell housing (apparently common). I took the tranny out again, took out the broken pieces, realigned the clutch arm, throwout bearing, properly seated the pilot bearing, and rebolted the tranny. All smooth - now I just have to get my new slave cylinder which I ordered and bleed by hand this time.

Update - spent hours trying to bleed. No way Jose. Eventually got a friend who is a Merc mechanic and brought his power bleeder. That helped immensely and still took 45 mins. No way I was going to bleed the clutch without that. So much pesky air in the system which I could not extract - impossible without pressurizing the reservoir.
