Default How much would it be to switch my automatic 318 to a manual ?

just wondering how much it'll be to switch out my automatic transmission to a manual. getting bored of a automatic but i want to keep my car. Any help would be nice. please and thank you

By yourself or paying for it to be done? it's not a hard swap, it's also exactly the same as doing a swap in a regular e36 so just search for any 5 speed swap diy.

You will also need to swap the differential to get the proper ratio for the 5 speed transmission

Or have a really quick, but impractical gear ratio. Man that would sooo whine on the freeway.

HaHa! soooo true! actually, my 318ic had a 4.25 or something in that range with a 5 speed as well. Quick, but not top end fast.
