I installed my new Alpine iDA-X305S head unit. I lead the iPhone/iPod cord under the console and through a hole towards the back of the console where the supposable 'cup holders' are! . The iDA-X305S looks great with the interior lighting though.

I also replaced the globe for the dash lighting for the climate control

Installed an aux input cable in the ti so now I can send music from my mp3 player through the CD43 head unit whenever I hit the CD button.

Bought a parts car on Sunday so I can easily hash out all the little things that bother my on the ti. Put a parts order into Pelican for clear lighting all around, antifreeze, and VC gaskets to install my powdercoated valve cover. Pulling an S52 this weekend and trying to convince myself to not drop it into the ti!

Yeah, it's an auto trans, with a 230,000 mile motor and beat trans. However I re-ran the test this morning, and got a 9.62 0-60 and 15.98 1/4 mile. I doubt the app I'm using is too accurate. Of course it could just be the trans acting up....

Changed the oil today and will take all the spare parts and crap out tonight for tomorrow's autocross. I'm going to go beat the crap out of it some more.

Last night I did catch up with a modded WRX with some fat tires on a exit ramp. I saw him take off and I caught right up on him. Every once in awhile the car does surprise me.
Would be interesting to see what I could do with a real suspension on the ti, but there is no way in hell I'm spending 2K on it. (TCKline perfect match SA kit w/camber plates)

Replaced broken driving lights on the 97 with OEM replacements with a layer of 40m Lamix to provide some protection from debris.

have you checked for fault codes? Maybe a cam or crank position sensor on the fritz, when they are dying and work intermittently it can really affect the car's power delivery/acceleration...

DAMN!
Getting ready for 3 days at VIR.
Flushed brake fluid, spark plugs, oil & filter.
Have been meaning to replace my diff fluid.
Well, maybe that wasn't such a good idea.
I now have a hairline crack in the diff cover.
I torqued the fill plugs to 52 ftlb.
I'm wondering if it was already stressed from my indy doing the work?
It's the cover from an M Coupe. I was hoping that the fluid would also improve the locking up issue I am having. It didn't.
So now I'm 'ucked.

Mini
Plugs, oil & filter and air filter.

E30
I was going to flush my brake fluid but I've had enough for one day.
So now I cancelled my DE. Bummed. Haven't been on the track all year.

Crap, sorry to hear about the diff cover. I've always heard no more than 35ftlbs on those plugs. The problem is that the torque spec is for dry threads and usually the fill plug has oil dripping out of it.

Any metal particles in the old fluid? You have a quaife right? Strange that one of those would have locking issues, maybe a bearing is going bad?
