aaah your car just gets better and better... and dare I say it, the type 24s float my boat more than the swish Hartges... something about flawless OEM rims on a super-minty modded car just does it for me...

been slipping on keeping this up to date so heres whats been happening since the last update!

upgraded my speakers to the HK ones

before

after

new alcantara gaitors have been fitted

before

after

as i'm away fairly often or tinkering and have to disconnect the battery i decided a cut of switch would be a good idea

fitted a mesh that abit marmite on the different forums i'm on lol!

its still on the style 24's at the mo

as 1 of the hartges isnt holding air! but i've had some tips from a guru so they should be sorted an back on soon

and most recently i got hold of some acs sideskirts that are getting painted at the mo so they should be on in a couple of days

and thats it back up to date

the grill's cool but I think the intake mouths wanna be darker or black otherwise they take the eye away from the quad lights, because the size is more or less the same as the lens...

Probably the most aggressive BMW front end I can remember seeing. Custom work doesn't always turn out to look as good as yours did.

I 'upgraded' to a 328is but I still hang out here. TBH the 6 is lovely but I still miss the handling of the Compact. The 4-pot is lovely also, just not so nippy when you have passengers/luggage. Considering an e46 325ti when it's eventually time to move on...

someone elsewhere asked me to do a quick sound clip of how the s/c sounded so loaded a quick vid to youtube
as per any video filmed on a phone it does the sound no justice at all but you get the picture
i'm filming it on my phone with my left hand so didnt change gears just stayed in 2nd
(yes i know the brake pad sensor light is on! but its just a broken wire )

oh and its on a private road on a camp

to bring this back up to date

as the weather is slowly getting a little better n show season approaches I took a couple of the hartges in to work so I can put a bit of work into them as and when I got a chance I'd let them get in to a worse state than what i should so my fingers are now in 5hit state! but so far 2 down 2 to go!

I know they are a marmite mod but I think they spruce the engine bay up nicely for shows so got the mirage pieces polished up ready

And also Took a little vid under the bonnet as I put them back on giving it a few blips
