Default m44lee's e36 coupe **supercharged**

hello all!
my name is lee and im from the uk!
im on several bmw forums but as im sure some of you are aware when you start asking for performance related tips for 4 pots i get sick of reading
" dont bother sell it and get a 6 pot"
and then when i do get pointed in the right direction most of the time someone will post a link to here!
so even though i dont drive a compact ( i drive a 318is coupe) i thought id join up so i can ask some questions and maybe even share my knowledge!

anyway i'll put some pics up of my car to show you all what i drive

and my future plans are to supercharge it using the dasc which i know a fair few of you on here have used so once i find those people i'll be picking your brains for knowledge and tips!

Don't worry. Someone will need to do a writeup to get rid of that trunk. Then you will be just like one of us.
Seriously, there is no pecking order of BMWs here.
Welcome.

well ive had the car for years now and tastes have changed several times and have had a few sets of rep wheels including e46 m3 and m6 reps and then decided i had had to have the hartge 3 piece rims in the pics and then to get the stance right i went from lowering springs to kw v2 coilovers! also been through a few sets of interior started with cloth and then these leathers but always wanted the vaders! so got a bargain on a set which came with some full leather door cards which i later found out are a pretty rare option! i also got a bit of an addiction for carbon fibre

i got fed up of looking for a stereo that matched the oe colouring of the dails so i decided to change them to blue led's along with all the switches

painted the engine cover and put some mirage stainless steel pieces in too!

fitted a rear strut brace

and will be fitting an x brace and a front one in the near future!

thought i was vin deisel and brought myself this lot

but then after buying it realised that the nearest filling station was miles away
so decided i wanted to go down the supercharging route!

and then one of my next plans providing they fit under my wheels is this bbk!

and bar bits and bobs such as pressed plates led number plate lights etc thats about it!
so what do you think? any comments good or bad are welcomed!

Nice work, your budget on this car exceeds the GNP of some small third world countries! Your attention to detail is impressive, I wish I could be so relentless...

looking very good indeed mate... what's the induction kit? never seen one like that before... The CF isn't really to my taste but I wouldn't kick the car outta bed for farting, hehe!
Just out of interest how much more have you managed to squeeze out of the M44 before going down the forced induction route?

To be honest I was after a 318is myself, but all the ones I tried out were chavved-out and thrashed, I tried out a ti anyway and everything felt 'right' in terms of it being well looked after and the price being OK and I haven't looked back since. I do love the look of the E36 coupé and I'm sure pretty much everyone else on here does too At the end of the day, us 4-potters need to stick together!

the induction kit is a pipercross viper! and is the best kit i've had for performance! doesnt make as good a noise as the powertec sl1 i had on before!
hope this vid works to show you how much this thing sucks! so imagine it at full throttle when going along!
