It's getting really annoying that I have to use AC to get it to unfog. What can I do to stop this? __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. It didn't really work well for me, but it might help. I used to spit in my dive mask to keep it from fogging, but someone told me toothpaste works better. Perhaps you can try rubbing toothpaste on a small section and then wipe it off and see if that section fogs up. I use a gel one that comes in an orange and black tube that works better for me. Also the rain-x one is pretty strong smelling if you are putting it on in a car that has windows closed. So open the windows before using it. None of them seem to last that long and all need to be reapplied every few weeks. | | | 11-13-2010, 01:51 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Your local auto parts store should carry Rain-X Anti Fog. Hey at the very least, your car will smell minty fresh | First off, I loving the avatar! I'll give toothpaste a try and see how it works. I've tried rain-x too and it left a messy residue behind, which I was not too pleased about. Quote: Originally Posted by marrow There are a few anti-fog products besides the rain-x one. I'll see if my auto store still caries it. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. I am not sure how that would stop fogging unless there are other properties in it. Headlights yes, it works good for scratched cds and games. It can be like sandpaper on a painted surface so be careful. (This is only the paste not the gel) My ti used to fog up worse than any car I have ever been in. But a couple treatments of the rain-x anti fog and it is much better now.
