1982 Saab 900 GLE 3dr 5sp (yellow/chocolate brown velour) - wrecked it, completely rebuilt and restored it, drove until it wouldn't go anymore (~250K miles).
1978 Ford F150 I6 4sp/w granny gear 2dr long bed (baby blue/black) - drove it till the wheels fell off then gave it to by bother who put another 150K miles on it.
1988 Toyota Tercel 2dr (red/black). College car, $3 in gas could go a long way in this tin-can of a car. 160K trouble free miles - literarily! Gave it to my nephew who got drunk one night and wrecked it.
1979 Saab 900 turbo 3dr 4sp (black/red velour & vinyl w/Incas) 50K original miles - Iconic Saab 900 turbo. Sweet ride for a car form the 70's.
1991 BMW 325is (black/black leather) 60K original miles - sweet ride - R.I.P. Got rear-ended at an intersection ...
2000 Ford Explorer metallic (blue/tan) - P.O.S! Oil pump went bad, engine seized. Installed a junkyard engine and traded it the next day.
2000 Saab 9-5 3.0L V6 turbo (silver/tan leather) - tones of torque! - Issues w/ABS & rare motor, sold it.
2001 Saab 9-5 Aero 2.3t (pewter/grey leather) - Fast! Upgraded turbocharger and suspension. Put 160+K miles and gave it to my sister/brother-in-law who are still driving it.

current rides:
2002 Chevy Trailblazer (white/grey leather) - family truckster.
2004 Nissan Frontier S/C Crew cab long bed (white/black).
1995 BMW 318ti (white/grey) - M50tu'd - My favorite ride to date!

In order of appearance:

1991 Acura Integra (Japanese POS - no soul - waste of money) - dead and gone, thank God
1991 VW Gti (greatest car I ever owned) - dead, gone & VERY much missed!
1991 Ford Explorer Sport (generally a piece of crap) - dead & gone

1999 318ti (on going project) - still got it
2008 LR3 (an awesome family truckster) - wife's car
2001 Audi A8L (AWD sofa on wheels) - my daily / winter driver

4. 1967 Plymouth GTX (was a stripped down drag car)

5. 1967 Plymouth Barracuda (one of my favorites)

6. 1982 Dodge Charger (lemon! sold as new but was a Chrysler loaner...returned due to scandal... got $ back and car, lost it in a flood while getting it's 3rd clutch in 3 years)

7. 1977 Chevy Caprice Classic (inherited from Grandfather)

8. 1986 Mazda 323 (put 170k miles on it, drove it into the ground)

9. 1980 BMW 320i (very fun car until it spun the bearings... RIP)

10. 1986 VW Jetta GLI (Maintenance Hog!)

11. 1993 Honda Prelude S - put 120k (212K total) on it, never once quit running or broke down... great car

12. 1986 Toyota 4runner w/ removable top - sold it when the tranny dropped out...

13. 2002 Subaru WRX wagon - blue pocket rocket for trips to Costco!

14. 1993 Toyota 4 runner -bought it to replace 1st 4runner... Tranny died on that one too...

15. 2001 Lexus IS300 - Solar Yellow w/ 2-3" drop... Great head turner and very quick, but the damn thing wouldn't go over a crack in the pavement w/o scraping the frame - sold it when a set of car ramps collapsed under it, tearing the nose of the car off... missed me by inches... Kragen paid me some serious $$$ for that.

16. 1988 Toyota 4runner - Missed having a convertable top - totaled by a rearend accident - truck was hardly damaged at all, but not enough value to keep and fix.

17. 1995 Honda Prelude SI - POS - kept it only 1 month - stupid impulse buy...

20. 1999 Mazda Miata (Current)

21. 1986 Nissan 300zx (Current Project) (now gone...)
Currently keeping my eye out for the next project, a 320i or 320is, to turn into a copy of the Roy Lichtenstein-designed track car... http://www.carbodydesign.com/archive...stein-320i.php The only car my late father, a modern artist himself, called "Beautiful"...
Figured I needed to update my own list...

22. 1995 BMW M3 (bought, renovated, sold)

23. 1994 BMW 325is (parts car)

24. 1993 BMW 525it (current running project!)

The one I remember with affection was a 1966 Rochdale Olympic. If you don't know this iconic UK fibreglass car do hit your browser for Photos and the history.
