Default FS: Stromung Exhaust, 3.45 LSD, interior parts

Howdy all,

Finally getting around to selling off the leftovers from the car's engine swap. I have many more (black on black) sport package interior pieces which I'll be cataloging and posting a list soon.

But first, a few bigger things:

1. 1995 318ti Sport 3.45 LSD (168). 155K miles, but no noise, no metal shavings and no notchy-ness -- does make a huge difference particularly for autocrossing or driving on low-traction surfaces. Was filled with M1 synthetic 75W90 its entire track life.

2. Stromung exhaust for 318ti - Large single tip, fits under regular bumper. All SS, way lighter than stock. Passed CA Test-only inspection with it installed. Good noise quiet and growly at low rpms, sounds great when wound up.

2a - 318ti center section with gutted cat. Not legal for anything, and with the above exhaust will definitely wake up the neighborhood.

$350 + shipping for either unit (they are both heavy and probably expensive to ship) I'll throw in the center section for $25 if you want it.

Was it used for motorsport? In the track?

Deadpan - you have a PM. Price listed above is $350 for the cat-back OR the LSD.

The center section by itself...well...what do you guys think, maybe $50? It's just the original section with the cat gutted, and an obvious panel cut in the bottom, that was re-welded back up. Honestly, it'll probably be more to ship it across the country than what it's worth, but hey, it's all about sharing the ti love.

Anyhow, send me some zip codes, and I can run them by the UPS store and get some approximate prices.

I updated my gallery with pics - the LSD for sale is the one in my 325 vs. ti comparo, and the exhaust has a pic posted where you can see the tip at least. Exhaust has probably 25-30K miles on it, never been in bad weather, rarely if ever taken on short trips (this was a track car), etc, etc.

Can anyone tell me what the differential specs on my 1997 Sport Package? Is this the same diff (for sale) as that which is already on my 97?

should be the same ratio, but your 97 may not be LS.

I recognize pics of your m5 from ebay, you're selling??? that's one beautiful clean example of an e28 m5. I'm selling mine too, turns out it's more work than I wanted.

LSD includes everything except oil and a 14mm hex wrench to open the filler port. AFAIK, all ti's used the 168 "small" diff, so bolting up shouldn't be a problem.

Pete - I'm responding to a few requests now, but I'll put you on the list next if they don't get back to me.

316 Compact - I'm trying to find out what shipping would be to you, shall PM when I find out.
