electronic trouble

I took it into Century West BMW in Universal City. They called me back telling me that they put it in and now there are all kinds off software problems. It was working perfectly fine. I did have to have it towed in due to the fact that the new keys wouldn't work before they did whatever they are supposed to do. Anybody got any ideas? He said it happened after he installed new EWS.

Isn't the EWS supposed to be aligned with the DME?

I don't know what is going on. They have finally offered a free loaner. If the new, updated software doesn't come in today, then I will go get it. Luckily, since nothing was wrong with the car, the week of investigation is on the house.

I also get some other new parts as well. Basically, I think they have just given me a new EWSII with updated software. This pretty cool, but still no estimate for completion time.

All I wanted was new keys and I have been on the bus for 2 weeks. For those of you who don't know, Los Angeles bus system sucks. Takes over an hour to go 5 miles.
