I kinda got a flying squirrel stuck inside of it, but with a little bit of nuts and trap, he came out and became such a nice pet... Long story as to how he got in that god damned vent! __________________ RIP Tonka Hitlerietta 08/03/04 - 01/25/05 | | | 02-18-2005, 01:32 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Lafayette, Louisiana, US Posts: 164 | well...the thing is...it doesn't even go on all the way. there's still a little over an inch before the part gets around the center side of the vent behind the dash. any other [less "rigged"] ideas? | | | 02-18-2005, 01:41 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Cola. SC Posts: 344 | I don't know if this would help.. .but how about removing the seat first then try to reinstall the vent? Just a suggestion. | | | 02-18-2005, 01:52 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Lafayette, Louisiana, US Posts: 164 | Quote: Originally Posted by bluebastion I don't know if this would help.. .but how about removing the seat first then try to reinstall the vent? Just a suggestion. | now...it's the vents in the front...that come out of the passenger's side kick pannel. not the ones under the seats. so i don't think that would help. i may have to pull out the entire center console (or however you spell it). but...i do not know exactly. we shall see. more opinions will still be wanted in the meantime. | | | 02-18-2005, 04:46 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Lafayette, Louisiana, US Posts: 164 | we got it back in. after much effort, and a bimmer tech friend going at the plastic with a knife, we (or he) forced it back in. thanks to all who threw in their $0.02. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
