Rear shock nut torque question, and a spring compressor problem First the question: on my new rear shocks (standard Bilsteins), what is the correct torque for the lock nut? Not the mount nuts, but the one on the top of the actual shock? Also, on my front struts, my trust J-hook spring compressor bottomed out before the springs were compressed enough. I plan to throw money at the problem by having a local shop compress them & move them to the new struts, but I am surprised that no one else has mentioned having this problem. Any thoughts? Thanks! |
