Default Style 29 16x7. Tire size? Spacers? Hub centric rings?

Hey all, a coworker just offered me his style 29's off his 7 series for $200. That's a steal and they look really good. Problem is i dont know what tire size I need to run with them or if it'll need spacers. Whats the most square/ stock-ish tire size that would fit my ti. Do I need hub-centric spacers? I looked all over the interwebs but could not come to a conclusion.

KASZ, many of our cars came with Style 18 wheels. If you look at the chart on the bmwstylewheels.com for Style 18 wheels, it shows these have an offset (ET) of 46 or 47 depending if you have 15" or 16" wheels.

The same site shows Style 29 wheels where used on 3 series, 5 series, and Z3 BMWs. It only lists the ET for the E34 5 series, and that's an ET of 20. You'll have to inspect the size cast on the back of the wheel to know for sure what you have.

Using this guide, it explains when the wheels have have a smaller offset, they will stick out further because it creates a negative offset. These may work, or they may rub on the fenders.

Awesome, thanks for the quick reply. In the end I turned the offer down since when i actually got to looking at them, they weren't in the best of condition.

The sources you sited are good too. I'll use those from now on.
