Default m42 and m44 coolant flow direction

does any body knows the direction of flow of the coolant on both m42 and m44 cars, like i mean the whole system, im trying to make all my m44 stuff work on the m42 motor but the m42 head doesnt have that plastic fitting at the back of the head so that deletes 2 houses and one of them goes to the heater core so i dont wanna just conected somewhere else and make the flow all messed up

Default

I'd get 16 & 17 on the M42 and be done with it, they would replace 12& 13 on the m44 everything else looks the same. Just connect the hose from the lower fitting to the core in the same spot...the other will be the one that comes from the head. You will also need 11 from the M42.

M42

m44
