Default fan swap

hey i have a m50vanos about to be turbocharged i was wondering cud i eliminate the clutch fan an strap the electrical fan that is used for a/c to the radiator...would it keep the car cool?

jamiaca.... ye!

er - chop it off mate.... a lekkie fan will do just fine.. or, you could delete aircon and drive around in shorts

i've deleted aircon, viscous fan, power steering, and anything that weighs 'anything'!!!!

keep me updated on the turbo conversion... what engine are you fitting the turbo to?

1994 m50b25 vanos from a 5series the turbo is a to4e...cud i use the air con fan as the radiator fan?

i don't even know what the aircon fan looks like mate... if its the electric one in front of the viscous then yeah.. should be fine.

i chopped my viscous off a few months ago - revs a lot nicer without that awful thing!

what, quicker than BlueBimma's 357ti??

doubt it... but happy modding!!!

i've got everything for my turbo build, but am considering nitrous instead... saves all the headache if i go for a 50 shot - less chance of engine failure (which i can't afford to replace right now)
