Talking FS: TC Kline '95 318Ti Club Racer - New Price - $8k

Looking for a new home for our TC Kline built 318Ti Club Racer. This is the first 318Ti that TC built and was featured in both the Roundel and European Car. We have lovingly cared for this amazing car the past 10 years but it is just collecting dust in the garage and needs to move on to its next keeper. Kids kind of change your priorities in life

Will get photos and list of mods up over the next couple days. Car is flawless and incredibly fast around any race track. Comes with tons of additional parts (like original seats, suspension, 4 sets of tires/wheels). Car has been anally maintained and is ready for many more miles of enjoyments.

Wanted to get it posted to this group of enthusiasts first as I insist it goes to the right home (yes, just because you have the money does not mean I will sell it to you).

80k miles. White with grey Recaro interior. $10k obo. 541-490-3068.

NEW PRICE 11/9/08 - $8,000

But what s unique about it?

Default Specs on car

Okay, for those who do not know about the original Club Racer from TC Kline, here is the option list that was circulating with the car in '95. This car went straight from the dealer to TC's shop for modifications. Car was ordered only with a limited slip diff, no other options to keep the weight down. Car has Recaro SPD's on both sides as well as 2 - 5 point harnesses. Racing Dynamics wheels are one of the 4 sets with the car. Have upgraded to 325 brakes with vented rotors! Pics coming soon!

What class/org is that car legal to race in? Never seen a half cage car that can be raced.

Edit- nevermind.. Saw your next post, didn't realize that is what TC was calling the car at the time..

Well, unless they replaced the front with an M3 bumper, I'd say it's a 96.
Good luck.

Oh wait, the pdf says 1996.

When the car was built, it was legal to run a half cage in both BMW CCA club racing and some conference races. Car has a log book from the times it was raced and worst it ever did was 2nd a couple time.

Car is a '95. Front bumper if an M3 that was put onto it. This is the first car that was built as a demonstration then TC Kline racing offered the package starting in '96.

Sorry for the confusion. If anyone has a suggestions on how to get a larger pdf up on this sight I can post the original article from European Car that reviewed this actual vehicle!

How times have changed. Now you have to have a complete cage, fire suppression, window nets, hans, etc.. to race in BMW CR. There used to be an articles section on the board where you could upload magazine articles and things like that. Not sure if we still have that feature. Would love to read the write up about it.

Sorry I have not gotten any pics up of the engine bay, it looks just like any other 318Ti engine bay! Will try to get some photos this weekend!

Okay, I have seen folks buying Sport Ti's on here for $8k but ignoring a completely prepped, rare Ti. New price as I need room in the garage for my new project ('69 2002 restoration with a DASC M44 in it).

$8,000
