The resistance is low, and they don't move THAT much.

On the off-roaders (with a foot or more of suspension travel) the squeaking is quite annoying. This is when the grease fitting was added.

You want to minimise the 'binding' that may come from incorrectly sized bushings, so size them correctly. On a road car with mimimal suspension travel, I don't think you would have any problems as long as they are sized correctly.

By the way, the polyeurethane bushings are inert, and you can use just about anything to lube them if you decide to.

I've been planning on buying new OEM sway bushings for a while. I'm wondering if it'll feel any better, considering my stockers are 10+ years old and have 141,000 miles on them?

Also, the rear sway links seem like mush! I've got to get those replaced...

It's a cheap up-grade for handling; like changing the plastic bits for the shifter linkage to improve the shifting...
