I've already been reading about hacks and upgrades. Typical of me... Brand new toy and I'm already looking to mod it... The software is Server 2003 based (A simplified version) of which I have a little experience with... I really don't like the thing. You have to install software to use it unless you really really know what your doing. I don't use windows so i can't install the ****ing software anyways. Regardless everything is proprietary, its ****ing stupid, and there is no working gigabit lan driver for linux so I can't take windows home server off. It can hold a lot more than 1.5tb (only redeeming factor) I heard there are some people pushing 12tb. You can fit 4 1.5tb hdds internally and the esata port has a chipset capable of addressing a sata multiplexer so you can add 4 external sata ports as well. In the way of modding you can't really do...anything that good. Best mod would be to take this ****ing ****ty windows home server bull**** off.
