Default 1996 california package

Hello All,
New here. My car is a 1996 aqua blue metallic california package. Its a very unique color...I have never seen another. I would like to ask the board if anyone has experience with fixing a leaky california top. It seems to leak from the front drivers side as well as the rear passenger side. I love the damn thing but this roof is a pain. BMW NA replaced it once under warranty and I know it will be a very expensive deal if I try to replace it nyself...thoughts? Thanks
