It's kinda good that I have to wait. I've been neglecting my Camaro constantly working on the black car so, I divided my time between the 2. Weekends are for the camaro and weeknights are for the black car. I'm hoping to have the Camaro on the road in the next few week, hopefully in time for my birthday and for father's day, being that the camaro was originally my grandmother's car and I'm hoping to take my dad out for a drive in it. It hasn't been on the road in 15 years.

Very interesting mounts. I wonder how they wheel feel compared to the normal design made out of urethane.

Hope you get the Camaro up and running!

I like these mounts because even if the urethane rips they will not come completely apart, and with the carbon fiber driveshaft if the motor moves too much it will damage the shaft. And I am almost ready to have the Camaro inspected, finishing up the power window conversion and put the last bits of the new interior in and its ready to drive.

New driveshaft looks exremely beefy. I'm sure that will hold up to anything you throw at it.

I have to clearance a few items and possibly may be switching to a fuel cell. I ran out of gas for the welder this weekend, and my air compressor is down. Hope to get back on it tonight, also have a disc brake conversion kit coming for the Camaro this week. I ended up putting a crate motor in it and now I want a little more stopping power.

Started modifying the subframe to fit the adapter flange and larger u joint. Clears everything else, but is kinda close to the center carrier support bracket so I'll be cutting that out too. Good news is I don't have to pull the gas tank yet, so I can hopefully make the next track night. When I switch to the fuel cell I'll have to once again re-organize the hatch, bottle locations and possibly move the battery, again.

I guess this will be my rough draft, I'm thinking I need to build a tube steel subframe or maybe just a better box steel design. I'd really like to make one that comes all the way around behind the diff with a sandwich plate between the cover and diff, also the second diff mount built into the subframe. Just some ideas I've been thinking of while building this.

Progress is looking good. There are a few E30 options available and some custom stuff available off R3V. This is built by Rocco Bocchicchio, IRP has/had a kit available but you could just as easily make with your skill set I would imagine. Keep us updated!!

Driveshaft is in with the new motor mounts and also I installed a kevlar transmission blanket. Also with the new injectors I went back to the 10psi pulley, so know its 10psi right off the line and by 1800rpm it is on the Wastegate pressure witch is 17psi.

Started wiring in the standalone ECU and hope to have it running again this weekend. Also installing the duel 340lph flex fuel pumps and also adding the flex fuel sensor.

I hit the limits of the piggy back ECU at around 650hp and 21psi boost. Rather than keep messing with it I decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and install the haltech elite 1500. It will kinda self tune but still have a lot to figure out. Like the ignition map and crank angle. But I do have some experience with them as I was running a haltech ecu in my peugeot.
